In this anti-ageist comedy, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) devotes his life savings to fulfilling his dream of playing in—and winning—the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem. Despite some setbacks along the way, a fateful encounter with the legendary Uncle Drew (Kyrie Irving) convinces Dax to rejoin the competition for a chance to win a much-needed cash prize –– and the opportunity to prove to the world that septuagenarians have what it takes to rule the court.
