Andrew (Nat Wolff), a young American soldier stationed in Afghanistan, becomes increasingly disturbed by the behavior of his fellow recruits under the sadistic leadership of their commanding officer Sergeant Deeks (Alexander Skarsgård). Wanting to report their behavior to the higher-ups, Andrew begins to fear he will become the next target of the increasingly violent platoon.
